The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is four year (8 semester) program that give you exceptional skills in becoming a practical nurse. A career as a practical nurse can be a rewarding opportunity to provide caring medical support to individuals and families across the lifespan. You’ll learn how to assist with health assessments and medication administration, and will have a lot of opportunities for hands-on experience to develop clinical skills. You’ll also learn about drug types, drug classifications and their effect on a person’s body, as well as the promotion of healthy lifestyles. An emphasis on critical thinking and communications will help you become a skilled practical  nurse who is able to adapt to a variety of environments and work with diverse patient populations. Under supervision, you’ll be able to manage and direct care in various healthcare facilities. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to take the National Nursing Council licensing exam.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of six credits obtained in the GCE “O” Level/IGCSE/SGCSE which must be at C grade or better. Subjects that must be passed at C grade or better include the following:

  • English Language,
  • Mathematics (Math Literacy shall not be considered)
  • Biology

And any three of the following:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Physics and Chemistry (combined )
  • Combined Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combined Science)

Plus any other subject at C grade or better

                        OR 

A recognized equivalent qualification
