Today, the EMCU campus was filled with inspiration as our Department of Applied Science (Social Work) hosted a powerful event in celebration of ‘World Social Work Day’ Guided by the beautiful theme of the ‘Harambee Spirit’— pulling together in unity and community—the day was a beautiful reminder of the collective power we hold when we support one another.
Our incredible students were empowered and reminded of the vital, life-changing role that social workers play across the globe. From global communities right down to our own homes,
our future social workers were urged to step out and make a lasting, positive impact starting within their very own families.
