The Department of Nursing is proud to host its annual Capping and Striping Ceremony, a significant milestone in the journey of every nursing student. This cherished tradition marks the
formal induction of first-year students into the noble profession of nursing.
As part of the ceremony, students will recite the Florence Nightingale Pledge, a solemn oath that reflects the ethical principles, compassion, professionalism, and commitment expected of every nurse. By taking this pledge, they affirm their dedication to providing quality care, respecting the dignity of all patients, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the highest standards of the nursing profession.
